Cookie Policy.

1. Summary

Krytekon does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies. The only browser-state mechanisms in play on krytekon.com today are strictly necessary for the site to function — specifically, for protecting the Vanguard waitlist form from automated abuse. Because our cookie use is limited to strictly-necessary security functions, no consent banner is required and no opt-out is necessary.

2. What we use

Cloudflare Turnstile (bot mitigation)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that signup attempts on the Vanguard form are made by humans rather than automated systems. Turnstile is loaded from challenges.cloudflare.com.

In our current configuration, Turnstile does not set first-party cookies on krytekon.com. The widget may exchange state with Cloudflare's servers solely to complete the challenge. We use Turnstile because it operates without the surveillance footprint of traditional reCAPTCHA-style systems — it does not profile you, does not require Google account state, and does not feed advertising graphs.

Rate-limiting (server-side, no cookie)

We rate-limit submissions to the Vanguard form by hashing the connecting IP address with a salted SHA-256 function and counting recent attempts. This protection is entirely server-side and does not place any cookie on your device.

3. What we do not use

• Analytics cookies. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no PostHog, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar, no FullStory, no recorder of any kind. We do not measure you across pages or sessions in any granular way.
• Advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels, no conversion-tracking pixels, no audience-segmentation cookies. We do not run a single ad of any kind.
• Social-media cookies. No embedded Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok widgets that would set their cookies on krytekon.com.
• Persistent identifiers. We do not assign you a tracking identifier, a fingerprint, or any persistent ID that could be used to recognize you across visits.

4. Local storage

krytekon.com uses no localStorage orsessionStorage for tracking or analytics. Any browser storage that may be set incidentally by Cloudflare's edge infrastructure is documented in Cloudflare's own cookie reference and is limited to security and routing functions.

5. Future changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will:

• Update this Cookie Policy with the specific cookies, purposes, and retention.
• Add a cookie consent banner where required by law.
• Notify existing waitlist members by email of any material change.

Until then, this policy reflects the simple truth: we have no commercial reason to track you, and so we don't.

6. Your browser controls

Every modern browser lets you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear stored cookies and site data at any time. Doing so will not break krytekon.com today; it may, however, prevent the Turnstile challenge from completing, which would in turn prevent you from submitting the Vanguard form. Once you submit successfully, no persistent cookie is required to use the site.
